The Garden and Wall 9 x 12 in.; Pen and brown ink on off white paper
This is a part of the garden. The garden is to the right of the main house (facing the
house) and is enclosed on three sides (open toward the house) by a high wall. The Pink
Palace forms the right rear portion of the enclosure and has a door and windows opening
into the garden. At the left edge of the drawing is a stone arch that leads directly
to one of the farm's fields. The garden itself is not kept up to its prior splendor
and is mainly used as an herb garden.
