Like most Pennsylvania barns, this one is built on the side of a hill to allow a hay wagon
to be pulled directly into the hayloft. The ramp at the lower right of the drawing leads
to large doors that open to the loft on the highest level of the barn. The doors below and
alongside the ramp lead to mid levels where tools and other equipment is stored.
