The Wissahickon Creek wanders through central Montgomery County before reaching
Philadelphia, where it empties into the Schuylkill River. Along a stretch of the creek
in Montgomery County is a nature trail maintained by the
Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association. I've spent many happy hours sketching and painting
along this trail. This painting was done on location along the trail in the Flourtown
section of Fort Washington State Park.
